9 mm Blue ScrewCap with bonded pre-slit septa cap red & white PTFE/silicone septa are designed for secure sealing of ND9 screw-neck autosampler vials used in HPLC, UHPLC, and GC applications. The cap is manufactured from durable blue polypropylene, providing excellent chemical resistance and consistent torque sealing during autosampler operation.

The septum consists of a PTFE (red) sample-contact layer laminated to a silicone (white) backing and permanently bonded inside the cap to prevent septa movement or push-through. The pre-slit design reduces needle penetration force, minimizes coring, and ensures smooth autosampler injections while maintaining effective resealing and protection against evaporation and contamination.

• 9mm screw thread vilas have a 9-425 GPI thread
• The closure is dimensionally equivalent to 11mm crimp cap vials.
• This means that they can be used in any autosampler that uses 11mm crimp cap vials.
• 9mm screw caps have an advantage over 11 mm crimp caps beacuse 9mm screw caps can easily be applied
• And removed by hand and they can be reused. All vilas are manufacture with USP typle 1 glass.
